Description
If you want your learners to take more reponsibility for their learning, you can achieve this through adopting a coaching approach.
This one-day workshop, accredited by the Association for Coaching, provides tutors, trainers and assessors with an introduction to coaching skills they can use to help their learners progress with qualifications, or into employment or further study.
The course will explore:
The functions of Coaching for Learning
The difference between coaching and mentoring
How to use the GROW model to coach learners
How to use coaching techniques including active listening and questioning
How to engage people in coaching conversations to define and achieve realistic learning development goals
Requires a minimum of 5 people to run this course.
In person in preferrable, online is an option.
